Staking in a winter wonderland…

Seasons greetings my awesome Crushers!!

Tis the season for returns, so let’s discuss how we get there, what to expect, what’s been going on, and what’s next.

So let’s start off by what’s been happening since launch and where we are. While this isn’t my favorite topic, it has a happy ending. Essentially our original team ended up flopping. They built the original Dice Invaders and Bitcrush Arcade platform so I really had no reason not to trust them, but when it came to delivering our current implementation they just weren’t up to par. keep in mind this is only from the server/game API side of things, the smart contracts were done by our awesome SC team. The live wallet implementation worked on testnet but became unreliable on mainnet. We noticed this within 2 days of launch, and acted quickly by offloading the project from them. Luckily our main smart contract dev is a wiz when it comes to server integrations and we’ve been untangling the mess and solving the issues one by one. While it’s been nothing critical, we really just needed to address these issues before turning on marketing full time so needless to say its been stressful. In the end our system is more complex than other solutions out there so taking a bit of extra time to nail it down is a good thing. We’ve ironed out about 95% of the issues with a few minor things remaining that should be solved over the weekend. As many of you may have noticed by now, table games are live again, and marketing has started up. That being said Dice Invaders needs to be re-worked a bit, the logic is all fine, but the fetching of rolls needs to be reimplemented to increase the speed. Now that we’ve solved our core issues we’ll be working on that.

So what’s next? Well, we have a ton of fun stuff lined up for this month.

We’re working to add additional tokens to the live wallet, starting with BUSD. This is awesome because BUSD profits will be used to purchase Crush before distributing to the staking pool. Hint: playing in BUSD will have a positive effect on the price of $CRUSH. Once we implement the new tokens to the live wallet, we’ll be working on Dice Invaders. In addition to fetching rolls quicker, we’ll need to add support for tokens besides $CRUSH so we’ll be tackling all that at once.

We’re working on some new partnerships. It’s up to them when we can launch so I won’t say too much, but we’re always attempting to expand our reach. Additionally you’re going to start seeing a lot more influencers pushing Bitcrush as well. Plus, we have some new videos coming from us to help people understand just what makes Bitcrush so rad!

Starting next week we’ll be launching a contest/promo. I won’t give anything away yet, but Moon will be letting everyone know the details shortly.

We have a new product potentially heading into audit next week. We’re unsure of the timeline but hoping to launch that this month! Fingers crossed.

Finally, we have a big surprise we’re pushing to announce this month. I can’t promise we’ll hit that timeline, but we’re doing everything we can to announce something massive in the next few weeks. Keep an eye out because you’re definitely not going to want to miss that.

So to wrap this up, I want to thank everyone for staying as positive as possible during this last month, and to get excited about what’s in store over this next month. We’ve had ups and downs like any project, but the optimism from our team is palpable and we can’t wait to show you what’s next.
